Who issues a salary certificate
Your employer does. A bank, a landlord or a consulate will accept it only on the company's letterhead, signed by an authorised signatory and stamped. That is why this page gives you the wording rather than a document: a generated certificate would be refused at best, and treated as a forgery at worst.
What it usually has to say
Your name and nationality, your position, the date you joined, your salary broken into basic and allowances, and the purpose it was requested for. Banks in particular look for the basic figure, because that is what several of their calculations run on.
Where you'll need one
Banks ask for one to open a personal account, approve a loan or a credit card, or work out what you can borrow for a home. Landlords and visa applications often ask too. Each will want it on letterhead, signed and stamped.

Who issues a salary certificate in the UAE?

What does a salary certificate show?
Your name and nationality, your job title, the date you joined, your salary split into basic and allowances, and what it was issued for.
Why does the basic salary matter?
Banks look for the basic figure because several of their calculations run on it, so the certificate states it apart from your allowances.
Can I use this draft as my certificate?
