The Instant License
SEDD's Instant License is open to every nationality and covers office activities that need no other authority's approval. It is issued within one working day, without a memorandum of association or a site, and you need no location or lease contract during its first year.
All it asks for is an Emirates ID or a passport, and its fees cover the licence and membership of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. If your activity is not on the instant list, it goes through SEDD's standard licence instead.
The standard licence
Activities that need another authority's approval, or premises from day one, take SEDD's standard licence, which is priced on the activity and the premises. We tell you on the first call which route your activity takes.
Year two and after
From the second year a Sharjah licence needs a registered location, so we plan the premises with you before the renewal, along with the visas your team needs.
After the licence
Once the licence is issued we move straight to the establishment card, the visas the company sponsors and your corporate bank account application, with the same team.
