How RAK DED prices a licence
Ras Al Khaimah's Executive Council Resolution No. (6) of 2026 sets the fees. A licence costs AED 10,000, 5,000, 2,500, 1,000 or 400 a year, depending on which of five categories your activity falls in. The legal form adds its own fee, AED 400 for a sole proprietorship or AED 2,500 for a limited liability company, and a AED 200 development fee applies.
Reserving a trade name costs AED 200 for an ordinary name, or AED 2,000 for a distinctive or foreign-language one, and holds it for two months. RAK DED also lists a subsidised licence for non-UAE nationals at AED 1,500, an e-commerce website licence at AED 3,000, and AED 700 to appoint a service agent.
