How Ajman DED issues a licence
Ajman DED publishes its own sequence, and we run each step for you:
- Reserve the trade name
- Approval from the federal identity authority for foreign owners
- Approvals from other government entities for higher-risk activities
- A lease contract attested by Ajman's Municipality and Planning Department
- Payment of the fees
- The memorandum of association, for a company
- The licence, with Ajman Chamber membership and the commercial signboard permit
What the fees are made of
Ajman DED's fee lines: AED 600 for the licence, AED 50 for the application, AED 350 for the signboard permit, AED 200 each for the commercial register and the economic activities register, a AED 1,500 contribution to the UAE CSR Fund and, for a limited liability company, AED 3,000 for its publication with the Ministry of Economy. Chamber fees, contract notarisation and your lease come on top.

Ownership
Federal law allows full foreign ownership of a mainland company for most activities. Ajman DED's own conditions still call for a UAE national as local service agent or partner for some non-GCC owners, so we confirm the route for your activity before you apply.
