The TAMM Instant Licence
Abu Dhabi's Instant Licence is issued through TAMM without the lease contract or the memorandum of association up front. Both follow within 30 days of issue, so you can hold a licence while you settle the premises.
Since July 2021 one government fee has covered ADDED, the municipality, the Abu Dhabi Chamber and the other Abu Dhabi entities a licence needs, with up to six activities on the licence.
Ownership and legal form
Under the UAE Commercial Companies Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 32 of 2021), a foreign investor can own 100% of a mainland company for most activities; activities the Cabinet lists as having strategic impact carry their own conditions. We check yours first.
The legal form changes the fees: a limited liability company carries federal fees, such as the Ministry of Economy's, that a sole establishment does not. We set out every line before you apply.
